“Ok Google, turn camera on”

The development team of Chk-In Cam is pleased to provide you with Google Home Support so that you may control your Chk-In Cam with simple voice commands.

Simply say "Ok Google, turn on my camera," and it will be activated and ready to go in a matter of seconds.

Follow the instructions to begin the pairing process.

  1. Make sure your Chk-In Cam camera and Google Home are up and running.

  1. To pair Chk-In Cam with Google Assistant

There are two ways to find Chk-In Cam action:

1. Launch Google Home app on your mobile phone or table and then Navigate to Home ->  More setting -> Services and search for Chk-In Cam .

2. Just say to Google Assistant “Ok Google, talk to check in cam” -> open Google Home app and navigate to Discover tab

Click on the "LINK ACCOUNT" button and sign in using your Chk-In Cam account

By default, the name of your camera is “My Cam”.  If you have changed the default name, then you must use the Personalized name.  To change the default camera name,

1. Log in to chkincam.com using your account. Follow "Settings->General" and look at Device title.
or

2. Launch the Chk-In Cam application, open the general settings and look at the "Camera Title" field.


You're now ready to control your Chk-In Cam devices with your voice via Google Assistant. Try saying, "Ok Google, ask check in cam to turn on the yourCameraName".

As a rule, always say the following invocation followed by the command, for example,

“Ok Google, ask check in cam to  Turn On yourCameraName.”
Where bold is the action, and italic is the command.
Note: To simplify the usage, unless you specifically include yourCameraName in the command, all new commands will be directed to the last camera the commands was directed to.

If you wish to command/control a different camera, just include the name of the camera in your command.  For example,
“ Ok Google, ask check in cam to Turn On yourCameraName .”
